What these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of this website: reading the pages, submitting the site assessment request form, and signing into the customer portal if you have an account. By using the site you accept them.

If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. You can always reach us by phone instead.

What these terms do not cover

They do not set the terms of any work we do for you. Installation, monitoring, inspection, testing and service are governed by the signed service agreement between you and NSS, and nothing on this website changes, adds to, or overrides that agreement.

Where this website and a signed agreement appear to say different things, the signed agreement is the one that counts.

This website is not a way to report an emergency

Do not use the request form, email, or any part of this website to report a fire, an alarm condition, a break-in or any other emergency. Nothing submitted here is monitored around the clock, and a form submission does not dispatch anyone.

In an emergency call 911. For an active alarm or fire condition on a system we monitor or service, call us directly on the number shown throughout this site — the phone is answered 24/7/365, and the website is not.

Requesting an assessment does not create a contract

Submitting the request form asks us to get in touch. It does not create a service agreement, does not commit us to perform work, and does not commit you to buy anything. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance.

Work begins only under a written agreement signed by both of us. Any price, scope or schedule discussed before that is an estimate and not a binding quote.

Accuracy of what is on this site

We keep the site accurate and current, but descriptions of systems, services and coverage are general information rather than a specification for your property. What a particular building needs depends on its use, its layout, and the code requirements your local authority having jurisdiction applies to it.

Nothing on this website is engineering, legal or code-compliance advice, and it should not be relied on in place of a site survey and a written scope.

Licensing

The licence number shown on this site is the licence under which we perform work. Licences and their scope can change. If a licence number matters to your decision — for a permit, an insurer, or a procurement process — verify it directly with the issuing state board rather than relying on this page.

Using the site properly

When you use this site, please do not:

• Submit information that is false, or someone else's details without their permission
• Attempt to gain access to any part of the site, the customer portal, or any account that is not yours
• Probe, scan or test the security of the site or its underlying systems
• Interfere with the site's operation, or send automated traffic to it
• Copy, scrape or republish the site's content or images for another business

Your customer portal account

If you have a portal account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.

Accounts are provided to customers under a service agreement. We may suspend or close an account where the agreement ends, or where an account is being used in a way these terms prohibit.

Keep your contact and billing information current. We rely on what is in the account to reach you.

Our content

The text, images, drawings, layout and logos on this site belong to NSS or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You are welcome to read the site, print a page, and share a link to it. You may not reuse the content commercially or present it as your own.

Availability

We do not promise the website will always be available or error-free. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of something outside our control.

The website going down does not affect monitoring or emergency response, which do not depend on it. If you cannot reach the site and need us, call.

Links to other sites

Where this site links somewhere else, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content or its handling of your information.

Privacy

How we handle information you submit through this site is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies to your use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
